Heavenly Father,
We gather here today to honor and remember our beloved past President, Rosendo Gutierrez, who served the Edgewood District Veterans with unwavering dedication and grace. We are grateful for the strength and leadership Rosendo bestowed upon us, and for the sacrifices he made in the service of the Edgewood School District.
As we make preparations to bid farewell, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround Rosendo’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence. May Rosendo find solace in the cherished memories and the legacy of honor he leaves behind.
Grant Rosendo eternal rest, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, Rest In Peace. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your goodness, kindness and of healing power as we lift up our Brothers, Lee “Top” Rodriguez, Leon “Chicago” Portillo, and John “Blue” Torres, who have been having health issues. Lord, we pray You lay Your healing hands upon them; touch them, heal them and bring them with wholeness of body, mind, emotions and spirit. Let the grace of Your Divine Love and Power flow into them right now. We pray You take away any pain or feeling of discomfort. Correct any malfunctioning of their bodily organs and tissues. Lord, hear our prayers in Jesus’ name, Your Son, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
