Golf Classic Tournament 2023

Greetings:
The Edgewood School District Veterans, Inc., (EDV), will be hosting its 14th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Golf Club of Texas Golf Course, 13600 Briggs Ranch, San Antonio, TX 78245.

We are a sanctioned 501(c )(3) Nonprofit Organization. For security purposes, our Federal Tax ID and State Tax Exemption numbers will be provided upon written request. Proceeds from our Annual Scholarship Golf Classic are used for scholarship tuition assistance for deserving students within the Edgewood Independent School District. The value of a good and continuous education cannot be over-emphasized. Our community’s growth and prosperity depends on our future generations. These remain our immediate and long-term goals.

In order to continue with this effort, we are asking for your support. We are soliciting donations unique to your business to award as door prizes or to be included in our “gift bags” for our golf participants. For your convenience, we have military veterans on standby to collect your donations if you so desire. Additionally, we are seeking Hole Sponsors in the amount of $250.00 and up. As a Sponsor, your business logo will be displayed on any hole that you request and also on Facebook and Twitter as well as the websites of the Golf Club of Texas and the Edgewood School District Veterans. There are no limitations as to the amount of donations you may desire to make, as we are a sanctioned nonprofit organization and your generous contributions are tax deductible for your company.

This 14th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic is the Edgewood School District Veterans, Inc., effort in assisting our school district’s students who would otherwise not be financially able to continue their higher education.

We remain convinced that with your generous support we will succeed in this endeavor. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please contact the undersigned.

Respectfully submitted,
